Yes. Send us your employee list, salary components, leave balances and document expiry dates in whatever shape they are in. Goose HR reads the columns and proposes the mapping, a person on your side confirms it, and every row is validated before anything is loaded — so you can check the balances before you go live.
Export the standard reports from your current system — employees, contracts, leave balances, payroll history — and we import them. We recommend running one month in parallel and comparing the two payroll outputs line by line before you switch.
Every company's data is sealed off from every other company's in the database itself, and files are stored privately and opened only through short-lived links. Goose HR is a hosted service; hosting commitments inside the UAE are coming. Core HR data can be exported at any time; full export is coming.
Arabic is first-class, not an afterthought. The whole interface works right-to-left, employee names and job titles are stored in both languages, and dates can show Hijri alongside Gregorian. English is the default; a company, or any single user, can switch to Arabic.

For the UAE, the WPS SIF file is generated and validated before download, and the run produces GPSSA figures and an end-of-service gratuity accrual. DIFC and ADGM employers (they have their own employment laws): not supported yet.
Goose HR is a hosted service. Installing it on a company's own servers is not offered.
A month's billable seats are its busiest day: the highest number of people with an active employment on any single day of that month. So a leaver and the replacement who starts after them are not both counted. Former employees who sign in only to read their own payslips are free, and managers, HR staff and admins are not charged separately as users. Crossing into a bigger band never blocks anything — hiring, payroll and every screen keep working, and we let you know.
Yes. A module is switched on for your company once it is agreed, and works with the data already there. A module you stop turns read-only for 90 days before it is switched off, so nothing is lost — and the statutory end-of-service statement stays open whatever you subscribe to.
